hello,

I am Dr Nilajkumar a gynecologist and will be answering your query.

It is usual for such complaints after Mirena. Most of the time it tends to settle down but it may not do so in some cases.

Despite this, it is better to get evaluated for any other cause like cervical lesions, infections or polyps and hormonal disturbances that can produce this picture. So I suggest that you see your gynec.

If it is due to mirena, drugs to control bleeding like tranexamic acid may be used to control bleeding.

Hope that this has answered your question and I am always here to help you.

Thanks and regards.
