What Causes Nausea And Light Headed With Mirena Inserted?
I am 34 years old, 5'6, 135 pounds and have three children. Recently, I have had periods of feeling nauseous, light-headed and of having no energy. I have found that during my period and a couple of days before, my energy level is up and the symptoms disappear during this time period. I was diagnosed last year with endometriosis and am on Mirena to help with the symptoms. Because of this, I don't often get my period and it is difficult to predict when I am getting it (or even having it because it so light). Is this related to that diagnosis or are these symptoms somthing else?
You are having nausea and are light headed after Mirena insertion. Such symptoms are quite common and are experienced by many, it is due to hormonal changes, a side effect of Mirena insertion. Once the body adjusts with the hormonal changes you will be fine. Other side effects are scanty periods, spotting, irregular periods, heavy periods, etc.
Since you have been diagnosed with endometriosis you should get treatment done by your gynecologist. Endometriosis is given conservative treatment and surgery is recommended only when there is no response to the treatment given. Stay away from addictions if any and take home made nutritious, balanced food rich in protein and minerals.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
