Any Suggestion For Stomach Ache After Consuming Harpic Accidently?
My friend has consumed harpic accidently. She is not sure if she has swallowed or no? She has symtomps of stomach pain. Having food is not a issue? and there is not sort of giddiness which she is not sure if it is due to this or low BP. Can you suggest what needs to be done. She does not want to visit a doctor
* In the case, when the patient is not willing to visit a doctor and not sure of intake, the following can be best tried for best results
- allow the patient to consume plenty of liquids
- antacid syrup as Mylanta and omeprazole capsule on an empty stomach to coat the gastric mucosa
- watch for any deteriorating signs as vomiting, severe burning, giddiness or else, in which case consult 911 immediately.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
