Any Suggestions For A 5 Yr Old Who Has Difficult Bowel Movement, Sharp Pain In The Lower Belly, Frequent Mild Cold?
5 year old child. In kindergarden. Drinks water like its going out of style. Does not like candy or sweet things at all Food doesnt make him feel good. with the exception of chocolate chip muffins. Common meal items are kraft dinner, chocolate chip muffins and mcdonalds chicken nuggets among other things. Has tons of energy and than will suddenly get very tired and be sweating and ask for a huge cup of water. Has trouble having bowel movements and when he does will sit for 20-40 mins. Ive read that this could indicate type one diabetes. Recently he has been getting sharp, accute pains in his lower belly region. He has been to emergency twice and the most recent scans and blood tests show his white blood cells are normal. Worth noting that he often has a slight cold but is otherwise a perfectly pleasant child. What options could we be looking at here. thanks
bowel movements are lax because his diet lacks fibre. he needs a lot of green stuff like fresh salads fresh fruits esp with the peel, sprouted pulses, banana, watermelon.the bowel movement is poor due to hard stools and the straining is not helping him either.avoid choclate for some time. balanced diet is the key. as regarding diabetes he doesnt have other symptoms, just to be sure check his urine by dooing a urine analysis
