Are HbA1c Pills Like Gemer, Storvas, Benitec And Vasfree Causing FSG To Increase?
Hello Doctor,
My MOM is suffering from dibeties for around 4 years, she is 58 yrs old.
With the recent test her HbA1c went up to 10.1 which was 9.1 in Jan-2014
We went to doctor and following medicine she is taking write now -
Gemer DS 2 mg (1 - 0 - 1/2) before food
Storvas 10mg (0 - 0 - 1) After food
Vasfree 100 (0 - 0 - 1) After food
Benitec A (1 - 0 - 0) before food
This she is taking from last 1 week but fasting blood glucose went up from 174 to 204
Could you suggest anything here?

Hi i read your question and understand your concern.
I am very sorry about your mom condition.
in my opinion the medication what mom is taking are good.
what about her diet and exercise,remember diet and exercise are very important and with out that its very difficult to control diabetes.
in my opinion you can consider taking tablet januvia 100 in night.
this will help in control of fasting blood sugar.
