Are Foul Vaginal Smell And Brownish Mucus In Stools Normal After Episiotomy?
Hi I gave birth 6 weeks ago. It was an assisted for cep delivery with episiotomy n 2nd degree tear. I am still using pads due to the brown discharge, should i be concerned that my discharge smells off and After passing stools my anal area seems to pass out slimy discharge thanks
Hi, thanks for writing.. Yes, during 2nd degree perineal tear , there will minimal slimy discharge for 2 months during the time wound heals completely.. But there will be no foul smelling.. If there is foul smell, it would be better to get a pelvic examination to rule out infection.. Feel free to ask any doubts.. Good day
