Are Headache And Nausea Side Effects Of Maharasnadi Kashayam Tablet?

dear Doctor, I am taking maharasnadi kashayam tablets - 4 per day. And being treated with ketakeemoolaadi oil for my back problems. I have been experiencing many headaches, nauseating almost like migraine. Is this perhaps a side effect of the medication?

Hi,

It could be due to the side effects of the medicine. Maharasnadi kashayam is an ayurvedic formulation claimed to be effective in the treatment of various painful conditions such as arthritis, bursitis, muscle sprain, and neuropathy. However its safety and efficacy has not been proved on any clinical trials.

Based on the history you seem to have developed side effects apparently caused by this formulation.
