Are There Any Side Effects Of Taking Metoprolol And Minera IUD?

I will be having an Minera IUD inserted tomorrow and the dr. suggested an injection of xylocain into my cervix prior to the procedure. I had a shot of this into my cervix many years ago and I felt a rush come over my whole body. It felt really awful. I m wondering if this is common, normal and if I have to have the shot in my cervix for the IUD insertion. I m worried about it. I also have PVC s that I take a 12.5 mg dose of metoprolol for each day. Does this matter?

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
