Arm Pain At The Site Of Picc Line Insertion, Chest Pain. Normal?
I had a picc line inserted on Wednesday am. Have experienced arm pain , mostly at site since insertion. Early this am (6 hrs ago) I awakened with pain in my chest on that side in a C shape. It aches & throbs. No redness or fever . No discharge or blood at site. Do I need to call the Home health hotline or do anything about it? Thx

Yes, you need to call the Home health hotline now. Having a PICC and any unusual symptoms that you experience warrants urgent medical attention. Please call your doctor at the earliest.
Better be on the safer side rather than worrying later.
