My baby is suffering from an infection and she is vomiting , coughing , having cold n blocked nose , and a Fever running more than 102degrees. She has been administered adol n fenistil (as the doc asked me not to give antibiotics until her swab reports come. Her appetite has reduced to nil she is just on breast milk since 1 day n she is vomiting every now n then should I giv her any medication for vomiting?
If a baby is has vomiting then that should be continued by antiemetics. If those vomiting cannot be supressed by antiemetic then one should administer intravenous fluids to prevent dehydration.
If vomiting are not controlled then dehydration will result and so give antiemetics to control them as prescribed by your doctor.
please monitor your kid for signs of dehydration.
They include
1. Decreased skin turgor
2. Increasing thirst.
3. Sunken eyes.
4. Irritability.
5. Drowsiness.
6. Decreasing passage of urine.
