Back Ache In Neck, Worsens Of Sitting For Long Hours Resulting In Headache. Remedy?
hi, I have had a bad ache in neck for a month now! It gets worse when I sit for long hours like sitting in a airplane, none of the positions like tilting or moving helps and after some time it results in headaches . Resting and sleeping always helps. But I feel it hard to sit for long hours as it pains a lot. I am 19 years old and I feel that it is disturbing my normal day activities.
hi ishita,
is your pain radiates to your arms?
when pain gets aggravated/relived?
is there any relation with stress/medication due to other reason/menstruation?
pain in other body part is there or not?
these are the questions to know your problem properly.
sometimes postural problem may lead to neck pain.
but as your pain disturbing you for 1month few investigations like x-ray of cervical spine is needed.
you can take common analgesics ,antiinflammatory & muscle relaxant & use a cervical bracing for 1week.
hope it will help you.
if persist then contact an orthopedic doctor.
good luck
