Hello,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.
Yes, it is possible for the prolapse at this time.
As your
pelvic floor muscles and muscles are weak at this time after delivery of your baby.
But still as you think, it may be due to fluid in douglas pouch.
It could be confirmed only by examination and investigations like
transvaginal ultrasound.
There are plenty of reasons for developing Prolapse at this age.
1.
Pregnancy weakens pelvic floor muscles
2. weight of the growing baby towards gravity can weaken the pelvic floor muscles.
3.
Relaxin , a pregnancy hormone relaxes the pelvic floor muscles.
4. Earlier resuming to normal work after delivery.
5. Not properly doing pelvic floor muscle exercise during pregnancy as well as after pregnancy.
As you have the history of resuming to heavy work ie sports activities earlier, it may be cause for Prolapse.
Any investigation and examination may be needed to confirm.
If it is a mild prolapse, it can be easily corrected by proper pelvic exercises.
Hope this helps. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
