Become Dry During Intercourse, Tried Lubrication, No Help. On Birth Control. Solution ?
When my partner and I are having intercourse, I become very dry. I recently started starting taking birthcontrol , about two months ago. It becomes very painful. Him and I are monogamous, and we don t have any STDs. I m not sure what to do. We ve tried lubrication but it doesn t seem to help. How can I fix thais? This is very recent, within the last two weeks or so.
Hi,
Thanks for query,
The Bartholin's glands (also called Bartholin glands or greater vestibular glands) are two glands located slightly posterior and to the left and right of the opening of the vagina. They secrete mucus to lubricate the vagina.
Bartholin's glands secrete relatively minute amounts (one or two drops) of fluid when a woman is sexually aroused.
The fluid may slightly moisten the labial opening of the vagina, serving to make contact with this sensitive area more comfortable for the woman.
Hormonal level governs its secreation.
Any disturbances in hormonal level or lack of it leads to this situation.
You may contact your gynec for need to take hormonal theraphy.
Thanks.
