Being Tested For Stress, Why Do I Feel Breathlessness And Palpitations?
hello, went to cardiologist for stress test and they said i was borderline pass/fail , I take aldactone 25mg and have had high liver enzyme counts recently.? He is having me go back for an echo/stress test together? says I have a lot of PVC s ...should I stop taking the aldactone and what do you think they could put me on to help me stop feeling like I can t breath and stop feeling the palpitations?
You need more investigations for proper assessment and assistance HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring) is done to analyse the betas and plan for further management…It may also detect silent (no symptom) ischemia. In borderline study - Stress ECHO or repeating TMT – Treadmill exercise ECG with thallium isotope – is necessary to evaluate ischemia (reduced blood flow / Coronary Artery Disease) Do NOT stop aldactone / check your electrolytes (Sodium, Potassium)
A cardiologist can assess and help further. / Discuss with your doctor...
