Bicuspid Valve With Aortic Stenosis, Insufficiency, Experiencing Blackouts . Reason?
I havea bicuspid valve with aortic stenosis and insufficiency I have recentle been expierencing blackouts that are only like 1 to 2 seconds and I am staying extremely hot were I am normally cold natured. I am continuouly on the go with both children when i get tired my heart fels like it slows and if must rest, I am also a ball mom and if I get caught up in the game my heart feels funny and I get really sick at my stomach
The symptoms as mentioned in your post are secondary to your cardiac pathology. Due to aortic stenosis & insufficiency, there is decreased blood supply to the brain, leading to blackouts. On exertion, the blood supply to the cardiac muscles per se decreases, leading to easy fatiguability.
Kindly consult a Cardiologist for further management. Investigation like Echocardiography & stress test will be helpful in determining the severity of the cardiac condition & formulating appropriate management plan.
Take care.
