Bitten By Vaccinated Dog. Took Injection. Is It For Precaution? Remaining Vaccination Can Be Skipped?
Day before yesterday I was bit by a pet dog (on my chin ..little scratch only)which was already vaccinated with anti rabies and such injections. But for safety a doctor asked me to take Tt injectionand rabipur and I did so . I m under vaccination now . My question is the injection I took was only for a pprecaution . So can I skip the remaining two vaccines and take non veg??
Hi
Thanks for your query,
As you have been bitten by dog on chin which is considered as danger area as it is near to brain, so i strongly suggest you to complete your vaccination as per schedule that is 0,3,7,14,28. Rabies is a fatal disease so you should not take any chance.
You will be fine
Take care,God bless.
Hello
Are you sure that your pet is fully immunised. Even after full immunisation it is not necessary for every one to develop full protective immunity as it can be suggested by serum level of antibodies only.
There are not any side effects of rabiesvaccination and it gives long term immunity so it is better to take the three initial dosage of vaccine and till then observe the pet.
Are you asking for non veg food? If yes then off course you can take non veg without any fear.
