Body Felt Warm, Pregnant. What Must Be The Temperature?
I Am 5 weeks pregnant and this evening I started feeling that my body was really warm. I took my temp and it read 99.4... I drank water and took a cool shower and sat in bed. 20 minutes later my body is back at 97.8 but I feel like my body still feels too too warm... would 99.4 be too high of a temperature for my early pregnancy?
You should not let yourself be febrile during early pregnancy as it can lead to abortion. So when you feel you have fever , just record temperature and take paracetamol as whenever you have temperature , baby's temperature is 1degree more than you which is risky for the baby.,
Also see a gynecologist personally so as to know the site of infection which is causing fever as unless treated you would keep having fever episodes. Paracetamol is just a symptomatic treatement.
Keep adequate fluid intake and nutrition
