Suggest Remedy For Recurring High Fever In Children With Sneezing
I have a 4yr old daughter, she started having sneezes...then runny nose one day and then she got slight fever and then I gave her dime tapp tht reduced sneezing... not she has sligh fever... when i give her ibuprofen the fever reduces... but again it shows up I don t know whether to treat her at home or take her to pediatrician.. please guide me
Lots of sneezes, runny nose and fever- it looks like an upper respiratory tract infection. This is quite common in kids. I am assuming that there had been no contact from outside. Having that said, give her paracetamol (Crocin)at 15mg/kg/dose (you need to calculate it in ml depending on the bottle) only when fever comes. Apart from that you can try giving her steam, keeping a humidifier in room and lots of fluids.
In case it doesn’t get better in a day or two, it would be wise to see a pediatrician as they can examine the baby and give the right medicines if need be there. You can also give syrup Sinarest as it contains paracetamol too along with other cold medicines. But to prescribe you the dose i would need the weight of the baby. You can either let me know or you can ask your doctor over phone.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
