Body Heat, Vomiting While Lying In A Hot Bath. History Of Fainting Episodes In Hot Conditions. Treatment?
My brother was in a hot bath a few days ago. He suddenly felt very hot and sick, left the bath and lay down on his bed. He woke up on his back choking on vomit . He vomited, then couldn t understand where he was (he didn t recognise the room or any of his belongings). Within 5 minutes everything came back to him, he lay back down and slept for half an hour. When he woke up he felt fine but did not go to hospital. He has been prone to fainting in hot conditions in the past, mostly as a child but does not faint regularly.
hi thanks for asking health care magic, one of the causes can be, hot water can cause our blood vessels to dilate which cause blood pooling in the peripheries and legs that may reduce blood supply to brain and give less oxygen,,which will cause unconsiousness, dizzines, vomittings etc,,(same reason for orthostatic hypotension,,, so avoid hot water, spending longer times in hot water bath, sudden getting up from sitting or bath tub, avoid bathing immediately coming from hot climates with dehyadration and electrolyte imbalance... see a dr,get general health status checked....take care
