Breaking, Yellowing And Ingrown Toe Nails. Remedy?

My toenails keeps breaking In the middle of my nail (between the top and the base of my nail). I also have ingrown toenail problems and have had three removed from different parts of my big toes over the last three years. I think I have another one, and I don t know if it s because my nail keeps breaking in such odd spots. I was also worried about my toenails being yellow and that being the cause, but I asked a couple years ago and the doctor thought it was just because of toenail polish. (I never go without polish.) I cut my toenails the right way, and don t think I wear tight shoes...maybe sometimes, but not all the time. Is there anything I should do until I get in to see a doctor to get this removed?
