Bubble On Upper Right Gum Between Back Molars,mouth Hurts,blood And Yellow Liquid Coming Out Of The Lump,rotten Taste

Hello, I have a small bubble on my upper right back gum. Its above a space between my back molars. I didn t notice it until this morning when I woke up. My mouth hurt abit, so I we to brush my teeth and I noticed it. I gently felt it at first, with the lump being very soft and I could feel something in it (liquid). I gently pushed on it and a ton of blood came out, followed by a clear-yellow liquid. It had a rotten taste to it. I had recognized the taste, because I had it in my mouth approx 2 weeks ago off and on. As of now, the bubble continues to fillup with the clear-yellow liquid and it does hurt. My family has a history of Periodontal s disease , so I m wondering if this is the first signs of it? I see my dentist regularly, brush 3 times/day, and use mouth wash. I try and take care of my teeth. Any help with this would be great. My dentist couldn t fit me in for another week, so I m looking for some answers.

Thanks for writing to us.

Bubble on gums in b/w molars may be caused due to abscess developed as a result of periodontal infection.

I would suggest you to visit a dentist and get a thorough evaluation done.

Pus within the bump has to be drained and curetted.

Get a thorough scaling done.

Deep caries if present,has to be root canal treated.

Take complete course of doxycycline along with analgesics after consulting with your dentist.

Meanwhile,brush and floss your teeth as well as tongue daily.

the bubble which you are feeling on gum lines may most likely be a peri- apical sinus in relation to some decayed molars. Alternatively it may also be a periodontal sinus due to periodontal problems causing food accumulations in soft tissue collar (Periodontium) around the tooth and subsequent infections.

However, some decayed molar and subsequent peri apical infection with draining siunus seems to be more abvious reason. Kindly visit the dentist and seek his opinion and possibly a radiograph also, which can exactly localize the source of pus.

Lastly this problem won't be corrected just by brushing thrice or by use of mouthwash. you must seek an opinion from a dentist with a thorough examination. BY the time You can have Antibiotics
NOVACLOX LB 500 mg along with FLAGYYL 400 mg, both to be taken twice a day for at least 3 to 5 days after having food
