Bumps In Pubic Area Spreading To The Vagina. Mild Itching. Reason?
I started having some bumps on my pubic hair area. They then started to on the left side of my labia majora. Now, i have some on the inner side of my labia majora. They sometimes have light itching, but nothing terrible. No burning or complete irritation. It just seems like I keep getting more of them. What could this be?
Bumps in the pubic region suggests infection of the hair follicles. Infection of hair follicles is called folliculitis. It is caused by bacteria. A complete course of antibiotics will resolve the infection. You need to visit your gynecologist for clinical examination and prescription of drugs. An incomplete course can lead to recurrence of the infection. Proper hygiene of the urogenital region needs to be maintained to prevent the infection.
