Bumps On Legs, Swelling In Left Arm, Loss Of Sensation In Right Hand. Due To Bump Pressing The Ulnar Nerve?
Hi, I have a bumps on my legs and arms approximately 1.5 year. Yesterday I noticed some swelling in my left arm just above the elbow. In the same day I suddenly felt loss of sensation in my right hand but there is no locomotor function problem. Today doctor (dermatologist) took biopsy from my leg bump. There is bump also in this hand as well. Is it possible that the loss of sensation is because this bump press the ulnar nerve? Please give me some suggestion what to do? What is this bums, are they fats? I am afraid that it can spread to CNS. Thank you very much for your help. All the Best.
Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe it appears to be the neuroma, grow along the nerves, Usually may not show motor or sensory loss. Rarely it may occur. Other causes, may be lipoma, but they are not so extensive. I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Any how your dermatologist has taken for biopsy, it will come to a conclusion about the diagnosis. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
