Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Once Your doctor has ruled out disc problem, sciatic pain and any local bony pain then it is highly suspected that you are having Rectal Spasm.
Rectal spasm is a muscular pain in anal area which may be due to any reason. The root cause of rectal spasm is tension in the pelvic muscles including the levator ani muscle.Sometimes the pelvic muscle spasm is caused by a trapped nerve or ligament. It may be caused by rectal ulcer syndrome,Anal fissures,Chronic constipation or Chronic diarrhea.
When your rectum goes into spasm, it then prevents the stool from coming out and it may irritate you.
Once all of these conditions are ruled then you can treat it accordingly. Even if cause is not clear, rectal spasm can be relieved by medication. You can use following medication after consulting your doctor.
Local application of castor oil.
Muscle Relaxants
Local application of magnesium oil
Take a stool softener
Avoid taking Laxatives as it may aggravate your condition.
Hope it helps.
Wishing you speedy recovery.
Take Care!
