Burning Sensation, Itching, Hot Sensation, Abrasion In Labia Minora. Used Neosporin. Will It Get Better?
I had sex in June after not having sex since January it was kinda of rough a week later I used the restroom and I had a burning sensation and when I looked it was a little pink abrasion from some of the skin being missing I put Neosporin on it and it started to heal I live in Ohio and we real cool weather in July that's when I had sex again. Nothing happen everything was fine then I had sex in the beginning of August and it came back the weather has got hotter in August and I sweat down there and it makes it itch it only bothers me when it gets real moist down there so it's taken longer to heal I'm in Florida now and it's really hot and by me sweating down there it's making it very itchy it doesn't hurt just a little when I touch right on it with a q tip its on my labia minora
Hello Thanks for your query. You should consult a gynecologist, as you have self treated it for long enough now. It could be an indolent non healing ulcer which could point to a sexually transmitted disease, or a chronic skin disorder. It could also be a fungal disorder. Meanwhile keep the area clean and dry ( neosporin is a good idea ) , and avoid overcleaning, douching or rubbing the area. All the best.
