C.EA Test High. Blood Found During Bowel Movement. Polyp Found During Colonoscopy. Suffered From Colon Cancer Earlier. Concerned

I have had colon cancer in 1997, was operated. In 1998 it went into the liver, and in 1999 into the lung. since than had no recurrence. My C.EA test has always been approximately 3.2 or a little bit up. Now it shows 4.7 a week ago. I think I saw some blood a few days ago. Maybe when cleaned after the bowle movement saw some blood on the toilet paper. had a colonoscopy about a year ago, and a polyp has been found, and I belief to have been removed. I am concerned, and I hope I don't have to go through another colonoscopy. Do I have to be concerned because of the higher level in the CEA test. YYYY@YYYY

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really understand your concern and sorry to hear that, in such situation the laboratory test need not given much importance, because it some time breaks the moral and create Panic, moreover it will not help the patient any more but to indicate any further investigation so why not to forget it and not see them any more and enjoy the life the great weapon is there and that is natural way of remission have good luck for this bye
