It is nice to know that you are trying to lose weight and improve your health. But rather than pushing yourself too hard to walk farther everyday, try walking the same distance but faster. If you are breathless while walking, take a break and rest for a few minutes. Also try to cut down on your calorie intake if possible because losing or gaining weight is a simple matter of supply and demand. You need to burn more calories than that you consume in order to lose weight. Do not overexert yourself.
Best wishes.
