CT Scan Suggest Hypodense Lesion, Mediastinal And Subcarnial Nodes. Meaning?

Ct Scan Iregular soft tissue lesionwith spiculation and surrounding mild ground glass density in the medial aspect of right lower lobe measuring 4.5 x 2.5 cm. The superior segmental bronchus and medial basal segmental bronchus of right lower lobe are occluded. No other focal lung lesions. No pleural effusion . Subcentimeter mediastinal lymph nodes measuring up to 8.5 mm. 12mmsubcarinal lymph node. Right hilar lymph nodes measuring up to 6mm. The right sided mediastinal and subcarinal nodes have increased in size as compared to previous study becore 6mm now 12mm. No enlarged supraclavicular or axillary nodes. Hypodense lesion measuring 11 X 10mm in left lobe of thyroid. PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME..... PLEASE

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

CT scan report shows that there is abnormal mass lesion in right lobe of lung. Segmental Bronchus( tube for air passage in lungs) in right side are also occluded.
No fluid accumulation in right pleural cavity.
Lymph nodes( node are present in lymphatic system ) are also enlarged and these are increased in size as compared to previous ones and this is not good at all.
There is also another lesion in left lobe of thyroid.
Exact nature of these mass lesions can be confirmed by biopsy.
