Calf Injury, Swelling, Bruising. Applied Ice. Hurts To Touch. Advice?
so about two weeks ago I was playing a soccer game when I got kicked on the inner part of my left calf right next to my shinguard about 4 inches from my inner ankle. swelling and bruising appeared immediatley. I iced when I got home but my leg was tender to touch and almost like burned when I touched it. a goose egg appeared in that spot later that night and was still swollen, bruised, and tender like burning. the pain almost had me in tears when I walked off the field. so today (about two weeks later) I got kicked again in the same spot after still having the goose egg and being black and blue, the same swelling and even worse pain and bruising left me crying as I walked. the pain keeps getting worse and it hurts to touch it or even to put an ice pack or bag of ice on it. any advice? or should I see a doctor? any ideas of possible injury?
