Hi, when was the last time you got a Color Doppler done for your left lower limb. Did you get it repeated after this swelling. This swelling could mean a recurrence of the DVT. So please get a Color Doppler done to see the condition of your veins which had suffered thrombosis. If there is a recurrence, then you might need a longer treatment with anti-coagulation medicines. There is no contra-indication to the medicines you are taking. When you tell us the report, please also mention your age and sex and what treatment you had taken during the first episode of DVT. Take care,
Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
