Clindazole contains
Clotrimazole, which is
pregnancy category D, and not supposed to be used in pregnancy.
However, you did not use the oral tablets, but just a single tablet per vaginally.
ALso, it was used during the ovulatory period, and not continued throughout pregnancy.
Hence, during early pregnancy, there would be absolutely no effects of these drugs on the baby.
Do not worry on this score.
These medications are not supposed to be taken in the first trimester of pregnancy, and you stopped using them early enough.
There are no complications that you should worry about.
Avoid taking any sort of medications now without consulting your obstetrician first.
It is best to take 5 mg per day
folic acid supplements throughout your pregnancy.
Have scanning done at 7 weeks to confirm cardiac activity and proper growth and development of the baby.
Just a single tablet will in no way harm the child.
