Can I Drink Alcohol After Having Paralytic Stroke And Hernia Operation?

I am 65 years....i ha a paralytic stroke at 58-years--right hand..and then a hernia operation...i recovered....I.walk an hour a day and do light exercise.From that day onwards i take i or 2 pegs of whisky a day.I feel fit.Im working still.My own work.Is it harmful doctor??? My weight is 78 Kgs and height is 5feet anf 10 and halh inches.I was a very keen athlete in my childhood and early manhood years.

One hour walk and exercise is good for your health. You have not given details of medicines you are taking. But you definitely must be taking some medicines as well and if yes your doctor would be able to tell you whether to combine those medicines with whisky is good or not.As for as theory goes about 90 ml 0f whisky dilates peripheral blood circulation to an optimum.But at the same time it also affects you brain cells. Please post details of your medication so that we can advice or else you can ask your doctor.
