Can I Fly After A Cryotherapy Done For Retina Tear And Has Blurry Vision?
Can I fly safely after retina tear and detachment with vitreous hemorrhaging. Repair was done 6 weeks ago with laser and cryotherapy. Suffered permanent peripheral loss of vision right eye. Tear was at 2 o'clock. I still have a lot of floaters and blurry vision but no pain. Thanks.
Hello It seems from the history that you have undergone treatment for retinal tear in the form of cryotherapy and laser 6 weeks ago. You can fly as treatment is already done and there is no need to worry since treatment is already done. Regarding persistence of floaters they are because of vitreous hemorrhage as the vitreous hemorrhage settles.
Thank you
