Can I Take Dydrogesterone During Periods ?

Hi im female age30 married,having problem in prolonged mensus,and I was given progesterone for 2 cycles x 21days,after taking progesterone I was asked to take dydrogesterone after 15days of my period,but my period has come for one week and stop for oneday only,the next day it comes with heavy bleeding , blood clotting,overflow..my period start25/7/2011 -now 7/8/2011 it still bleeding,my specialist asked me to take dydrogesterone 9/8 on tuesday,can I take it while my bleeding out?please help me

prolonged menstruation need complete investigation to find the cause & treat it .So get ultrasound preferably trans-vaginal done ,along with hormonal assay if your gynec suggest. you can take dedrogesterone.
