Can I Take Norethisterone 5mg To Pre Pone Periods?
Hi, I am expecting my period in another 5 days(i.e. 23rd dec - 27th day of my cycle) but I want to prepone it as i am travelling on 23rd and I want my period to start 2-3 days before my travel.I visited a doctor and he told me to take 4 tablets of norethisterone (5mg) now and it will help me to prepone my periods. I read few articles on norethisterone but it says it delays the periods.Can you please tell me if above prescription will help me to get my periods early??

Hi,
high doses of norethisterone when taken after ovulation, is followed by widrawl bleeding within 7 days of consumption. So if you had taken the pills in time it will help you in preponing your period.
