Can I Take Other Pain Medicines Along With Naproxen To Help Me Sleep At Night After Having Shoulder Replacement Surgery?

I am recovering from shoulder replacement and need pain meds to sleep at night. If I take 2 naproxen before bed for pain but if I get up during the night and need something more to get me through the night ...... can I stack it with tylenol or another pain med?

Hi,
Yes, it is perfectly safe to take Tylenol during the night. If you need further pain relief in addition to Naproxen and Tylenol then you could consider a codeine-based pain-killer but ensure it does not contain paracetamol as well as this is what Tylenol contains.
