Can I Use Silicone Sheets For Scars On Nose And Eyebrow ?
hi doctor i am a 17 year old boy have two scars since 2- 3 years on my left side of my nose and the other one in between my eyebrows the left side happened because of a mosquito bite it is a dark round spot and the other happened because a football scrapped my skin off.. will the use of silicone sheets get rid of my scars ?

we can only know that once you use it. but its very unlikely you can get ris of those scars by using silicon.a dermatologist is a better person to provide you info on that.

It usually depends upon type & duration of scar; recent scar respond better. Please try Hexilak gel 3 times a day locally for 2 months & let me know the results.

it depends on which tyoe of scar you have. silicone sheets or gels are helpful only in hypertrophic scars and that too not to a great extent.
you may try using retino A 0.025% cream once daily at night and have a personal consultation with a dermatologoist or a plastic surgeon regarding surgical management of the scar. you may also send me your pics for a better advice.
