Can Klebsiella Cause Pregnancy Problems?
My throat culture just came back positive for Klebsiella in the throat. I ve been on z-pak while waiting on the throat culture and do feel much better (no more sore throat after 2 weeks). However, they still want me on penicillan for the next 10 days because I am currently 2 months pregnant. Should i be concerned about Klebsiella since I m pregnant? I do feel better and will start the penicillan treatments today.
