Can UTI Cause Tinnitus And What Tests Should Be Done?

I have tinnitus since last 12 days, ENT doc did not find any problem, nurologist got CTScan done which was clear, noww treating for some kind of partial vartigo which is making the situation worse. few days back I had notice transpatent discharge during urination and for a day or two had lower abdominal pain on left side....I have a history of UTI and very sensitive to infections. please tell if UTI can cause tinnitus and what kind of test should I go for. A doctor friend also suggested tyroid test to be done. Please advice.

NEITHER UTI NOR THYROID DYSFUNCTION LEAD TO TINNITUS. U NEED TO GET UR AUDIOLOGICAL ASSESMMENT DONE TO CHECK WHETHER ITS NORMAL OR REDUCED AND TO GET POSITIONAL TESTS DONE FOR U TO LOOK FOR ANY POSSIBLE CAUSE OF TINNITUS. TINNITUS IS MORE COMMONLY A NUISANCE THAN AN INDICATOR OF SOME SERIOUS UNDERLYING DISEASE. U NEED TINNITUS RETRAINING THERAPY, GINKGOBILOBA TABLET AND A NEUROGENIC VITAMINE CAPSULE. THE PROBLEM WILL SUBSIDE SOON.
