Can A Child Take Tylenol And Motrin For Dizziness, Lightheadedness, Cough And Congestion?

I have a 7yr old daughter who has maintained a 101-103.5 for almost 24hrs, I have done the baths, the damp cloths, Tylenol and motrin, fresh clothing, popsicles, plenty of fluids and just about everything I can think of. But I haven't had any luck bringing it below that, she tells me she is dizzy/light headed, has some cough (actually how it started) also some congestion. Her pulse is at 115 bpm! I'm highly concerned something will happen to her if I can't bring it down!

Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM .
To bring down temperature give Paracetamol 15 mg/kg body weight every 4-6 hourly depending upon the requirement.
As the child is more than 6years old, you need not worry about febrile convulsions
Tepid sponging as and when required.
Ofcouse you have consult pediatrician to know the cause of fever and its management .
Hope this answer will do.
Please feel free to ask more queries.
