Can A Diabetic And BP Patient Taken Brufen Tablet For Pain ?

My uncle( nearing fifty) is diabetic and takes medicines for BP..so would like to know if there is any harm if he takes brufen or diclofenac for pain..also can he take any otc multivitamin for well being?
