Can A Nerve Impingement After An Accident Cause Bouts Of Diarrhea?
my son suffered a compression fracture of his tibia and fibula 6 years ago as he slid foot first into a tree while skiing. Shortly afterwards, he began having bouts of diarrhea which have increased in severity and frequency to 4-6 times per week. Endoscopy and colonoscopy clear for celiac, and all IBDs. Stool clear for parasites, etc. Lab work all normal. He also complains of neck and back pain. Could the diarrhea be caused by a nerve impingement?
There can be possible effect over intestine motility from accident giving bouts of diarrhea. It requires a detailed case study with all reports co relation.
