CAN A TUMOR ON THE AORTA BE REMOVED?PATIENT IS 68 YEAR OLD DIABETIC HX. 5 FEET TALL 130 LBS. hAD STAGE ONE OVARIAN CANCER 6 MO. AGO. PATIENT HAS RECIEVED NO TREATMENT FOR STAGE ONE CANCER. PATIENT IS HAVING ALOT OF PAIN AT THIS TIME. WHAT CAN BE DONE?

It is important determine the location of the tumor and its relation with aorta or any other blood vessels. We cannot judge without an angio CT scan of this region or an MRI. You should discuss with her surgeon.
