Can Acnes And Spots On Foreskin, Linked With Unprotected Sex?

I have two red spots on my foreskin, a boil on my inner thigh and a long term "acne" breakout of my face. I started noticing these things several months after having unprotected sex. I have had an IgG antibody test for HSV1 and HSV2 as well as a rapid screen blood test for HIV and all were negative. My IgG rated at .16 for HSV2 and .19 for HSV1. Any idea what these things could be? Are they related or coincidence? The acne seems to be responding to benzoyl peroxide but I am still getting new pimples. The acne seems to be localized around my mouth and nose. Please help.

Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic.

These things seem independent of each other.
Red spots on foreskin do not seem to be an STD. They are most likely a manifestation of fungal infection/ candidal balanitis.
I suggest you to use an OTC topical antifungal e.g clotrimazole 1% cream, twice daily.
Boil is a bacterial skin infection. I usually suggest my patients to take an Oral antibiotic for a week. My choice of an oral antibacterial would be either flucloxacillin or cephalexin for a week.
Topically you may use an OTC topical antibacterial e.g mupirocin ointment, twice daily.
For I would suggest topical clindamycin or benzoyl peroxide gel for active acne during day time.
At night you may use a topical retinoid e.g adapalene gel over the whole affected area.
Oral antibiotics may also be required if your acne is inflammatory i.e red, painful or pustular.
I suggest you to visit a dermatologist in your vicinity for the needful.

Regards
