Can Acupuncture Cure Back Pain Caused Due To Radiation Therapy?

I had an operation for cancer of the colon 4 years ago, and the usual radiation treatment and chemo by tablets, but since the radiation treatment my back pain is unbearable, no pain killers seam to ease the pain, I never had back problems before the operation and the radiation treatment, I am 73years old can you recommend any treatment, should I try acupuncture.
