Can An MRI Cause Delayed Or Missed Periods?

Hi, I had a pelvic MRI Scan on the 10th of this month (day 22 of my cycle). I have a regular cycle and get my periods usually on day 27 or 28. Today is day 29 and still no sign of my periods?! Can the MRI cause delayed or missed periods?? I am sure I am not pregnant as due to the MRI that happened and a possible surgery in March, we had been advised not to try. Please tell me what is going on :(
