Can Anorexia And Bulimia Causes Heart Palpitations And Lightheadedness?

I feel sometimes lightheaded and mildly short of breath with exertion. I also have very noticeable heart palpitations when at rest. I am 49 but have an approx. 16 year history of anorexia, bulimia. Have been diagnosed with osteoporosis in my late 30 s. Could I have heart damage from my anorexia? I abused diuretics and laxatives for many years. Thank You!

yes, bulimia and anorexia cause heart palpitations. it is the major symptom of anorexia. you should ask your doctor for a change in your medication and its dosage.
