Can Anti Nausea Injections Cause Pain And Numbness In The Leg?
I have had a l4, l5 decompression and fusion in my back I was very sick post op and have had four anti nausea injections 1 in one leg 3 in the other I now have loads of pain in the leg that 3was injected in and can t walk very far as I m in so much pain and my leg goes numb do you think it s down to the injections as I m getting very anxious I have no pain from scar on my back it s all in my thigh and buttock where they injected
What injections exactly did they gave? Probably steroids may be given locally. Local inflammation or edema may lead to pain. If there is no improvement with steroids then we may try local anesthesia or nerve ablation etc. Please consult with neurosurgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
