niece age 42,preg post 8 days ago, elevated fever, headacebad flu like symptoms several weeks before delivery. presents all symptoms of meminigitis, minus the rash. also mri of brain shows small minute bleed still has headache, irritability, cannot stand noise or light, elevated fever persists

Hi , I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
Bleeding in brain is not a sign of meningitis.
however , that bleeding can be due to coagulopathy due to jaundice in pregnancy.
Also there are chances of Cavernous sinus Thrombosis.
