Hello Doctor, my age 24, i'm suffering fever from 6 days, antibiotic started on 4th day. The widal test was advised and it says SALMONELLA TYPHI O 1:160 ( serum ) SALMONELLA TYPHI H 1:80 (serum) SALMONELLA PARATYPHI AH 1:40 (serum) SALMONELLA PARATYPHI BH 1:20Can you please advise on what are the indications?

This is typhoid fever with moderate to severe degree. Proper antibiotics treatments and IV fluids is necessary. Please avoid fatty and spicy food till everything becomes negative. Take plenty of fluids. Liquid diet is preferable. If you have vomiting antiemetics like injection Metaclopromide can be taken.
